On Women riding Side-saddle.
All women, of all ages and shapes, still look better side-saddle
than ever they can astride.
That's my opinion, and I stick to it.
Granted, a girl with a lovely figure looks really ravishing
in well-made boots and breeches,
astride a beautifully turned out blood-horse:
but she would look even more ravishing were
she to ride the same creature side-saddle,
with a well-cut London habit and a silk hat.
